How important do you think it is to be authentic and true to yourself online?

It is very important to be authentic and true to yourself because if you try to be like someone else or do what everyone else is doing then your just another person doing what they do. Nowadays, you really have to stand out from the crowd to make it, make your own trend, make your own product. Just be different.

Had you ever considered the importance of a personal brand being about both your online and offline selves?

Yes, I have always considered the importance of my personal brand both online and offline. I learned that very early when I started doing YouTube, your personal brand is everything. For example, you can't go out and get into a fight then someone records it and post it, someone notice that it was you and starts to repost it, now that will affect your personal brand online.

Some would say that your online reputation is your most valued possession. Do you agree or disagree with that? Why is maintaining an online reputation important?

I totally agree with that statement because anything you do can change how people view you in the matter of seconds. You do not want to get cancelled especially if you have large number of following and when you get cancelled that will cause you to lose money. Also, maintaining a good online reputation can make you have connections with some great people or that are very known and with having those connections you can make your way up to the top as well.

 Wassup y'all, as you know I am Youtber/ Social Media Influencer and with being a Youtuber you have to post consistently in order for your channel to grow. On Moday February 14, 2022, at 6pm I posted a video. The video was called "Fake College Basketball Scout Prank!"  My name is Montrey Thompson or also known as Trey or Trigga or Trigga Trey. I'm from Baltimore, MD and I am 21 years old, about to turn 22 April 30th.       Today, this will be my final blog of COMM 373 A. I truly enjoyed blogging even though blogging isn't really my thing that I do because I usually vlog for my YouTube channel. But I am glad that I got to experience something new and try something different. My mom always told me, "Don't say no unless you try it", and ever since she told me that when I was little it always stuck with me. Now the question is, will I continue to blog?
