Blog #12

Today, this will be my final blog of COMM 373 A. I truly enjoyed blogging even though blogging isn't really my thing that I do because I usually vlog for my YouTube channel. But I am glad that I got to experience something new and try something different. My mom always told me, "Don't say no unless you try it", and ever since she told me that when I was little it always stuck with me. Now the question is, will I continue to blog? Probably not since I have another way in vlogging to share my thoughts. I am so glad the blogging was a part of this class because it gave me a chance or another way to share thoughts that were in my head, get things off my chest, give knowledge to other about social media, and also to be myself. So, whether it is old or not, I still enjoyed my time here in this class and blogging. This blog has contributed to your digital footprint by giving me and showing me another way, my fans can keep up with me daily. Maybe down the line, once I g

My blog presence has been real and authentic I would say. All these blogs have been real, it is like I have been giving yall a mini life story before the full version comes out. I gave you my exact thoughts and feelings about the topics of week.  This image above is my logo and my actual business (LLC) that I have in real life. F.A.M.E ENT which stands for Fans Are My Everything, it is an entertainment company that signs all entertainers such as actors, rappers, singers, models, influencers, Tik Tokers, YouTubers, and more; and bring them all together to make content with each other to run each other numbers up and grow with each other. The color scheme behind it is really I just put a bunch of filters on it and this one came out how I envisioned it, something that makes it stand out or make it a little bolder. In creating this logo, I wanted something different from the rest, so in this image of the rose I feel like describes me in a way. A rose looks nice and all but don't mess

This week I will be talking about the rest of my senior year as a college student. This is the final stretch and at this point I am definitely ready to go, but at the same time I am very nervous to what waits for me in the future and that I am entering the real world. As some know, I will be moving down to Atlanta, Georgia once I graduate and there have been many bumps in the road with this final stretch as far as: me getting a speeding ticket, losing/having to take money out my savings for my apartment, cutting my hours at work, going to court on the 19th, being suspended from being on campus, losing views and subscribers. It is just a lot going on right now, just make me want to stay in my room and be away from the world until I graduate, but I know I can't do that because I still have to make content at the end of the day. But my time is coming, my big break through is on the way. All I have to do is wait on God because his timing is always perfect. With all that being said, th

I've been getting asked this question very often, "what do you want to do with your life after you graduate?" or "what are your plans after graduation?". After graduation, my plans are to move to Atlanta to grow my social media, make content with some of the biggest names in the industry, and get a job to have multiple sources of income. Also, with that come multiple doors opening up such as acting and modeling and more. I've been doing social media or taking social media seriously and now it is time, and I am ready for my career to take off. I have somewhat of a huge following, I have 12.9K followers on Instagram, 5,803 followers on Tik Tok, and 6.58K on YouTube. I barely use Twitter or Snapchat and I don't have a Facebook. But since I am about to switch up my content, I might be using all platforms to grow. Now you ask, "Trey why are you in school then?", "what do you want to do with your degree?" In all honesty, I do not want to d

Before I start answering the questions that I am required to answer, I just want to say that I am very impressed with this class. I came into this class thinking "what is the point of this class?", "this class will be easy since I already do social media and get paid for it.", I went in thinking it was going to be an easy A, which so far it has been, but at the same time I am learning some things that I can use for my YouTube channel, my Tik Tok, and my Instagram. I wasn't expecting us to do some of the things that we are doing and are learning about.     What has been the most interesting concept? So far, the most interesting concept that we did was probably the New Media Journal. I found this to be the most interesting concept because it was something different that I haven't done before. While doing the new media journal I realized that I am on my phone a lot of the time or using some type of social media throughout the day, but I am using social me

Wassup y'all, as you know I am Youtber/ Social Media Influencer and with being a Youtuber you have to post consistently in order for your channel to grow. On Moday February 14, 2022, at 6pm I posted a video. The video was called "Fake College Basketball Scout Prank!" When I posted the video, I got the eyes everyone and I got some positive feedback and some negative feedback. When I checked on how the video was doing, the had got 300 views within 3 hours. But also, at the same time I have a lot of people blowing up my phone telling me to take the video down because I was going to get in so much trouble for it. (Side Note: I get paid for posting videos on Youtube, so I take this as a job that I love to do.) I gave it some thought and talked to some close friends to get their opinion on the situation. I ended up taking the video down for few, then I gave it some more thought and said to myself why let someone else stop your money? So, what I ended up doing was putting the v
